The Big 12 would have only one team in the college football playoff.

Would it be predictable? Yes. Is there plenty of more football to go? Absolutely. And I will tell you what has to happen here for the big 12. watching us and consuming us. So right now, Texas Tech is fifth in a theoretical college

football playoff format right now. What would that mean? That would mean that you would have a

situation where Texas Tech would be hosting Tulane in a first round

matchup in Lubbock.

Top four seats get the buy.

It's a straight seating.

Five plays the 12 at home, so on and so forth.

So Tech would get the group of five team, Tulane in this situation at home.

And the winner of that game would play Georgia in this theoretical

college football playoff if it all ended today. BYU and Utah are theoretically right now the

first two teams out of the college football playoff. That's because you have five SEC teams in there right now. You have

A&M. You have Georgia. You have Alabama, Oldness, and Oklahoma. In the Big Ten, you've got

Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon. That's three, eight total. And then it's Tech out of the

Big 12, Miami out of the ACC, Notre Dame, and Tulane out of the group of five.

So Notre Dame has a great, great system going.
