So, Tim, let's just put a bow on football.

I thought that Arizona states run against Texas was exactly what the Big 12 needed. I think it's also what the

ACC needed. Basically, it was what ESPN didn't need. It was good for the anti-SCC narrative.

And even though they lost the game, which is debatable, you know what? I am I am thrilled with how the season ended based on where things

were trending. How about you? Me too. I mean, I think the way the top teams performed in

bowl games was telling the way Arizona State acquitted itself and staying the course, just like

they've done all season and playing to their strengths,

which was, I think, a defense we didn't fully respect this season, Pete.

I think we knew it was good, but the way they handled Texas was really impressive.

And, of course, Cam Scataboo doing his thing once they figured out,

you got to wait a little bit on that Texas

defensive line to get a little tuckered out and then you can start running the ball.

But I was proud of them.

They should have won.

You know, poor Texas, they never get breaks.

And I still can't wrap my mind around that no call.
