All right. This week, Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bolsby was on Capitol Hill testifying at the first

hearing on student athlete pay in the U.S. Senate.

He was joined by also in the Big 12, University of Kansas Chancellor Douglas Gerard.

But both men came at the issue of how to handle players' names and images and likenesses and whatnot

and how to pay them for it if they should be paid for it.

They came at this from different angles.

Bolesby was very cautious about paying college athletes saying, quote,

I fear that if we adopt a process that permits per se play for pay or any proxy for pay for play,
