Why?

We have a conference game.

Now we technically have two, but only one of them is actually worth something.

And you know what the deal is there.

If you don't, here's what's going on.

Friday we've got a couple of games.

Colorado plays Houston.

That opens up Big 12 play.

I guess technically Farmagetan did, but, you know, that was overseas. We don't count that, right?

And then you've got Kansas State at Arizona. The K-State Arizona game is not a conference

game because it was scheduled before Arizona was in the Big 12. So it's a non-con, but it's two big 12 teams. It's weird,

but I get it. I'm good with it. So let's start there as we talk about the games here coming up this

weekend. We'll start with the two Friday games. Colorado at Houston is fascinating to me because

here's a Houston team that's actually starting to put it together on

offense with Connor Wigman at quarterback and the wide receiver pieces that they've cobbled

together that look pretty good and have some solid depth as well.

You've got a Colorado team that still is looking for its identity.

And this is a game where the spread opened up at about minus four,

minus five, and then it jumped to minus seven in favor of Houston. So I'm jumping on Houston,
