So here's what's going on that has people intrigued by the idea and the possibility of USF, South Florida, being a target for the Big 12 and USF making a play at the Big 12.

And it was from a USF, not just fan, but somebody who knows what's going on with the

Bulls. And it's connecting a few dots that I thought were worth sharing with you here on the show.

So you recall, we talked about this a couple of weeks ago, the Big 12 was wrapping up a deal with Redbird and Weatherford Capital for a cash infusion

of as much as half a billion dollars to schools, as well as striking a strategic

investment partnership with the firms at the league office.

So you're like, okay, half a billion dollars, accessible for the Big 12 schools, the money's

out of control in college football.

But how does this tie in to USF?

So let's connect some dots here.

First off, the Big 12 has UCF in the conference, right?

The I-4 corridor, as it's called,

from Orlando to Tampa, is one of the fastest growing parts of the state and has been for,

gosh, a couple of decades now. Florida natives know this better than me, but it's something

that's been on the table and has been growing rapidly for a long time. My folks were in the Orlando area for about
