So we've got a bunch of great games, one non-conference game this week that carries a lot of weight.

And how we'll do this is I'll give you the top five storylines I'm watching here in the Big 12 this week.

a bad bet for this week across the Big 12. So when you look at this week in the Big 12, what you

have is a Friday night game. You've got Houston and TCU. Not much going there.

But the storylines that I'm watching, and I'm going to give this to you in no real particular order.

But the storylines I'm watching, number one, Dave Miranda's hot seat.

Dave Miranda and the Baylor Bears are 0-2 in league play. This after they went

two and one in the non-conference. They lose to Baylor, including that Hail Mary, BYU. They were

just dead in the first half. Come back late. Of course, that comeback falls up short.

Now they go to Iowa State. An Iowa State team that a lot of people think can make a college

football playoff run and win the big 12. I am high on Iowa State. Do I think they're getting a little

too much love right now based on who they played?

I do.

The Iowa win was great.

But let's not forget, they looked like very mediocre over the first 35, 40 minutes of that game, give or take.

And then they turned it on.
