Conference play gets underway this weekend.

Let's just start off, look back on non-conference play.

What was the biggest surprise to you of the last few weeks?

I think really West Virginia, and not that I don't think any of us thought they didn't have talent going into the season.

They definitely had a bucket full of it, especially with the new recruit, Oscar Cheshivway, and Miles McBride coming in.

I think it was just how quickly it all came together.

When you have a team with a lot of new young pieces

and not a lot of veteran leadership returning,

you really never quite know how those teams are going to come together, chemistry-wise.

And the fact that they've only got one loss,
