A Saturday podcast, replacing a missing Friday podcast for all of you.

I'm actually glad we're doing a podcast today because we've got a lot of

NCAA tournament action to discuss, and we can preview Maryland Yukon tonight. And for those of you

that get this in time, make quick preview of the Georgetown Colorado game, which goes first.

I am hopeful of having Chris Cooley on this podcast today. We had an

agreed upon time this morning to discuss Chris Samuel and other things, to have his film breakdown

of Chris Samuel and a discussion about Chris Samuel. We may have to wait until Monday because

he wasn't available at the time that we thought we were going to get together.

Who knows? Could have been my fault. For those of you listening to the radio show yesterday,

you know that I had another incident as I was getting into my car yesterday morning to come to

the radio show. A big old branch fell from a tree and it was pretty windy and knocked me on the back of the

head. But I got through the show yesterday and I'm glad we didn't do a show yesterday because we've

got a lot of games to talk about. What a crazy day in the NCAA tournament. I wanted to start

real quickly with just acknowledging what Alex Ovechkin did last night because I guess for whatever reason I caught it on

Twitter that he just scored two goals in the third period to rally Washington to their seventh

straight win. All of a sudden, you know, he's got a goal scoring streak. He's now the leading goal

score on the team, which he wasn't just a few

games ago. For those of you that followed it this week, he moved into sole possession of

sixth place on the NHL career goals list, passing Esposito, and he got goals 1719 and 720 last night.

He's just amazing.
