Anyway, they have a list of different festivals and rights and practices specific to areas,

and they say that read this list and you will understand culture.

They call the list the list of intangible cultural heritage.

Though once you write it down on the list, it becomes kind of tangible.

Anyway, the Belgium Carnival of Ulst is a three-day event in the city of Ulst,

but alas, Ulst did not last.

This year, during the supposedly culturally significant festival, an unusual float got most of the attention.

The Carnival float at a parade in Belgium has caused outrage for displaying giant caricatures of Jews sitting on bags of money.

Oi! So as an apology, the leaders of Ulst sensing that this year's inclusion on the list would be the last of Ulst simply said,

oh, I'm fired, no, I'm not fired, I quit.

That's right, they are petitioning for removal from the list that don't want to be told not to have pretty vehemently anti-Semitic floats.
