0:44.7	Out front tonight, it is literally about life and death. Those are the words from President Biden, as he announced that the nation's largest employer, the federal government, will tell its employees to get a vaccine or face regular testing.
0:53.9	Every federal government employee will be asked to attest to their vaccination status.
1:00.6	Anyone who does not attest or is not vaccinated will be required to mask no matter where they work,
1:15.3	test one or two times a week to see if they've acquired COVID,
1:21.1	socially distance, and generally will not be allowed to travel for work.
1:29.6	The president also urging states to use federal funding to give $100 to anyone who gets fully vaccinated, and addressing why he stopped short of a mandate for the entire country.
1:34.2	It's still a question whether the federal government can mandate the whole country.
1:38.3	I don't know that yet.
1:40.8	All right.
1:41.4	Look, this is way more aggressive than we've seen Biden and the administration to this point.
1:45.6	And it is a big step in the right direction, as the U.S. is now averaging nearly 64,000 new cases a day.
1:51.5	But with only 49% of the United States fully vaccinated, this new push could be a lot stronger.
