Howdy, you know, every Wednesday morning, which is when I have my first staff meeting of the

week with my team to get ready for media buzz.

And for the last, I don't know, several years, we already have a lot of material, a lot of topics,

a lot of guests to try to fit into our hour, which I guess

since today's Friday, I'll just throw in the plug, you know, media buzz, Sunday morning,

11 Eastern on Fox. Now, what I often say is this.

Okay, we have enough stuff to do the show today and then some, but it's only Wednesday morning, and a lot of things are going to change, and we have to be prepared for that.

Well, I can't think of a week where that has been more graphically and dramatically true than this past week.

You know, went to bed New Year's Eve.

Actually, we didn't do the Wednesday call this week because it was New Year's Day.

Wake up, Wednesday, New Year's Day. Wake up, Wednesday,

New Year's Day, the whole world has changed. The terror attack in New Orleans, the cyber truck

attack outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. And suddenly, you know, I'm trying to figure out how to do all the things we wanted to do

and having to drop some.

That's inevitable, especially when you host a weekly show, and get in this news story,

which in this case, you know, has utterly dominated the coverage and with good reason.

So I'll dive into that in a second.

You know, what really caught my eye is this story about alcohol and cancer. I mean, we all see the expert guidance shifting. You know,

you name it, whether it's dietary, whether it's medical.
