I'm Robin Brandt and in the early hours of Friday the 22nd of September these are our

main stories. After talks with President Biden at the White House President

Zelensky has said the US has agreed extra help to strengthen Ukraine's air

defenses against further Russian attacks. The media tycoon Rupert Murdoch is

giving his son Latlan control of his businesses and Brazil's Supreme Court has

ruled in favor of restoring territory to an indigenous group.

We begin though in Washington DC the US will give more help to Ukraine in the

coming winter to help boost its air defenses against Russian attacks. It's part

of a package of measures announced after talks between the US President Joe

Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart for Vladimir Zelensky at the White House.

During a tour of Washington Mr. Zelensky also visited the US Congress and

met leaders at the Pentagon. It's all part of his continued diplomatic effort to

maintain American support for the war against Russia. At the end of the White

House talks President Biden said the US remained committed to ensuring Ukraine's

long-term security and deterring future threats against sovereignty and freedom.
