Weeks after a trained arraignment and chemical spill in East Palestine, Ohio, the Environmental Protection Agency says it's ordered Norfolk Southern to clean up the site of the accident.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan appeared in East Palestine today alongside the governors of Ohio and Pennsylvania. He said he was using his authority under the Federal Superfund law to require Norfolk Southern to address the problem, a spokesperson for the company couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

The investment advisor overseeing a $32 billion equity portfolio for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has agreed to pay $4 million to settle an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The SEC alleged that ensign peak advisors obscure the Mormon Church's investment holdings. As part of the settlement, the Church will also pay a $1 million fine, the Money Manager and the Church both settled without admitting or denying wrongdoing.

In corporate earnings, Walmart reported strong sales last quarter with December marking its largest sales volume month ever.
