live at 30 Rock Center, and we are now 117 days away from the election.

And earlier this evening President Biden was hoping his performance during a high profile

news conference will be what he needs to reignite confidence in his

campaign. Tonight he stood on stage for 50 minutes taking questions from

reporters and defending his decision to stay in the race.

Can you name me somebody who's gotten more major piece of legislation passed in three and a half years?

I got created 2,000 jobs just last week.

So if I slow down I can't get the job done, that's a sign that I shouldn't

be doing it. But there's no indication of that yet. None. The president also addressed what he needs to do to

reassure his supporters who are currently feeling doubts.
