President Joe Biden is overhauling the COVID-19 pandemic response.

Biden signed another 10 executive orders in what he called a full-scale wartime effort.

One order tells agencies to use the Defense Production Act.

Remember, that's the law that allows the White House to order private companies to do something

for the good of the country.

This time, Biden says it can be used to boost supplies like

n95 masks testing supplies therapeutic drugs and vaccines. Some of the other

orders are to open vaccination centers in schools and government buildings, direct

more studies and trials of COVID-19 treatments, require masks on planes, trains, and buses

as well as in airports, and make sure all international travelers can show a

negative COVID-19 test before flying into the US. Plus Biden wants to offer more

guidance to schools on reopening and create a health equity task force to make sure
