and inauguration in a pandemic.

For the past couple of weeks, President-elect Joe Biden has each week been announcing

one component of his administration.

Good afternoon.

The President-elect has made very clear that he regards fighting the coronavirus pandemic,

the most urgent mission of his new administration.

Today, I'm very proud to be announcing our health care and COVID team at a critical time.

My name is Amy Goldstein and I'm the Washington Post National Health Care Policy Writer.

I know that out of our collective pain, we're going to find a collective purpose

to control the pandemic, to save lives, and to heal as a nation.
