Did you just stay true to hope all through the spring and all through the winter?

Did you just keep thinking that maybe just maybe these Democrats might be able to get

blood from a stone somehow?

They couldn't get the Republicans to come over. They couldn't even get the Republicans to come over they couldn't even get the

Democrats to come over but did you did you just hang on to not going full

cynic and do you feel a little bit rewarded tonight? Because I gotta tell you, it's our job as liberals

or progressives, what have you,

moderates, Democrats, anti-evil people.

It's our job to have critical thinking towards our own side. It's our job to

talk about things in the Inflation Reduction Act that don't actually solve every problem

on earth. It's our job to take the piss a little bit and be just a little

bit cynical. But in our hearts we're filled with hope because we care about other people.
