President Donald Trump declared that the next front in the war against the coronavirus

would be reopening the United States. In a recent briefing, the administration announced a

three-phase plan to bring the country out of this global health crisis, the first of which

involves easing shelter and place orders. Many governors are eager to open schools and

businesses, some however warning that they are unable to do so until testing for coronavirus

has been ramped up significantly. All of this will likely have a major impact on the

2020 race. The former Vice President Joe Biden recently enjoyed a good week filled with

endorsements ranging from Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to former President Barack Obama

and even to Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. As we see the Democrats coalescing behind Biden

as their nominee, the new question is, who will Biden choose as his running mate as he heads

closer to the 2020 Democratic National Convention? Our socially distant panel, anxiously awaiting

update from the digital campaign trip. Joe Biden is trying to convince people to vote for him,

but for the foreseeable future, he's limited to a webcam in Wilmington, Delaware, and a campaign

podcast where he explained the challenges. What I've been able to do is just reach out and talk to people like I used to do on a

rope line. When you do a speech, you get out and talk to folks. It's not quite as satisfying.
