This is the American dream.

The point that people always point to is Eisenhower creating the interstate highway system.

Though we have the greatest highway system in all the world, it can't carry the mounting

traffic of our growing greatness.

And even though President Eisenhower's interstate highway system accomplished what it set

out to do.

But there's foot sides to it as with everything.

There are problems those roads created that we're still dealing with to this very day.

You know, that's the same system that has dissected some of these black neighborhoods

and been unequally applied.

Today, infrastructure is the next big thing on Biden's agenda.

The Eisenhower legacy and the interstate highway system is definitely something that's

on people's minds as they're working on this bill.
