So far, President Joe Biden has made some sweeping proposals about how he'll handle the pandemic.

And he's made it clear that getting COVID-19 under control is his number one priority.

He has assembled an impressive team and proposed a $1.9 trillion American rescue plan.

That's to help slow the spread of the coronavirus and simultaneously stimulate the economy.

Today, I'm going to talk to some of our top experts about how they would advise the new president and his administration

in a couple of key categories, such as vaccine distribution and testing.

Two of Biden's biggest initiatives are set to be completed within his first 100 days in office that would put us at the end of April.

By then, he has pledged to administer 100 million vaccine doses and hopes to reopen a majority of K-8 schools for in-person learning nationwide.

It's that latter goal that's been on Joseph Allen's mind.

This is nothing short of a national emergency.

Allen is an associate professor at Harvard's TH Chan School of Public Health.
