Former President Joe Biden's big book announcement this week has already blown up in his face,

with conservatives across the board, piling on and reviving all the old questions about his mental

fitness, his age, and that infamous auto pen he used to sign away pardons and executive orders

while he was supposedly in charge. Biden dropped a video on X Wednesday announcing his memoir

titled, Promise Me America. The book is supposed to chronicle

his presidency and lay out the deeply agonizing calculation behind his decision to drop out of the

2024 race. It's set to hit shelves on November 17th, conveniently about two weeks after the midterms, so Democrats can try to keep the spotlight off how bad things were under Biden.

In the video, Biden says he's been getting treatment for his cancer diagnosis and that it's been going really well.

He claims the book is about the challenges facing the nation, the decisions he made, and why he made them,

including rebuilding our economy and restoring our democracy after the attack on January 6th,

ending our nation's longest war in Afghanistan, strengthening NATO and supporting Ukraine.

But nobody's buying the spin.

Social media lit up with mockery almost immediately.
