That's an inside joke, because I just told you that i'm really low on sleep and i'm feeling

probably the way joe biden feels when he doesn't get his nap not when he does get his nap

when he doesn't get it right yeah i feel like i've seen less of you this week than usual have you

been uh you know like this i i i think semi comatose so you Yeah, I feel like I've seen less of you this week than usual. How have you been?

You know, like this, I think semi-comatose. So you haven't really missed much. But a lot's going on in the world.

It is. Yeah, I can set the stage for what we're wanting to talk about. So, yeah, obviously a lot has happened in domestic politics since we last spoke. President Biden, as everyone knows, during the debate, showed signs of age-related cognitive

decline. Then in reaction to that debate, much of the liberal media, my impression was they turned

into a kind of pack of hyenas in their efforts to get him off the ticket.

No, Andrew, that's not nice. These are human beings we're talking about.

So that's something I want to talk about, like, what exactly is going on there?

This week, the Supreme Court said that presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for official acts performed in office,

and that ruling pertains to the election obstruction case brought by the federal government

against Trump. And then today, I don't know if you saw the New York Times reported that Biden

has told an ally unnamed that he is considering dropping out of the race, but the White House is still

emphatically denying that he's actually considering doing that. That was a classic

pack of hyenas story. I want to talk about that. Slightly overdone, I think, when you look closely

at it. Yeah. And we're also going to talk about a new essay that you wrote on progressive realism and on the failing of U.S. foreign policy vis-à-vis China, Russia, Israel, et cetera.

And we'll be making an announcement about some exciting changes happening here in non-zero land.
