The Environmental Protection Agency on Friday

rolled out a set of regulations on pollution from trucks and other heavy vehicles, a rule that the EPA thinks means that a

quarter of long-haul trucks could be zero emissions vehicles. By the year

2032, that is a target that the American Trucking Association's says is quote, unachievable, unquote.

While we share the passion for EVs and cars in late duty vehicles,

projecting an automotive construct onto trucking industry dynamics is a massive mistake.
