I want to welcome Miranda Devine from the New York Post to the podcast.

So I had this really great plan for today.

And it was going to be that because normally when we do these live streams and podcasts,

we like to take some time with the author or the reporter or whoever is the guest and get into,

you know, how did you get into this business?

You know, what are interesting things, topics that you cover and etc.

Although we've got a little bit of excitement this morning, so if we don't get right into that,

I think all of our viewers and listeners would be like, hey, what the hell you didn't ask Miranda about this or that.

So let's just roll right into it.

Obviously, there was the word out on the street the last, I'd say, since it's probably the weekend that the grand jury was undecided.

They were going to go on some kind of month long break.

And then, damn, yesterday afternoon, we get hit with an unprecedented indictment.

And Miranda, my position, what I said in the last couple of weeks, what this was really about when you,

if you know the political machinery and you know how the swamp works, it was really about a drag down internal fight.

But of course, the fake news totally ignores even though they know and they're on all sides of it.

And it's really between two parties within or two groups within warring with each other within the democratic party.

The one group is and all that's kind of the Pelosi swamp machinery that I almost say is, you know, very hard left.

They don't give a damn about the country. They don't give a damn about anything.

They just want to keep and hold power for as long as they can.
