and trailing behind top Republican contenders in a potential 2024 match-up.

A new ABC News Washington Post poll finding only 36 percent of Americans approve of the president,

not only his career low, but numerically the lowest on record for any first-term president,

a year and a half from the next presidential election.

The 2024 Republican presidential primary field is taking shape.

The battle lines are becoming clearer, and so is the field of candidates.

Is the odds on favorites if you look at the polling still Trump first-by?

That seems to be evident. It's just way too early to tell it.
