So the backdrop of all this is that the country is already $30 trillion in debt.

That's an almost unimaginably huge number.

And so you would think that any prudent group of statesmen would be trying to get that number down,

not promiscuously add to it.

Now, Biden's implying that he's got some momentum. We've got a framework.

I think this is an exaggeration and this is actually a device by Biden to imply that,

oh, we've got this one figured out. Everybody else needs to fall into line.

But it doesn't look like people are falling into line.

Manchin won't say that he supports the new scaled back $1.75 trillion.
