Summary

Mike & Jay kick off this supporters’ midweek episode with a discussion of all of the unidentified aerial objects the United States has been shooting down of late. They follow that by considering the state of Medicare & Social Security and what should be done to put them on a sustainable footing, whether the Senate should eliminate the practice of allowing home state senators an effective veto on judicial nominations, and the greatness (or lack thereof) of American healthcare.  The Politics Guys on Facebook | Twitter Listener support helps make The Politics Guys possible. And, you know, people are understandably starting to wonder what exactly is going

0:55.2

on. And not too long ago, President Biden actually addressed the issue saying, we don't yet know

1:01.2

exactly what these three objects were, but nothing right now suggests they were related to China's

1:05.7

spy balloon program or that they were surveillance vehicles from any other country.

1:12.7

And it appears likely at this point that the latest three objects that were shot down were balloons owned by private companies

or research institutions. And the Biden administration has gone at this point now for being

criticized for waiting too long to take down that initial Chinese spy balloon to now being criticized for
