GDP is down 1.4% for the first quarter of this year- and now it looks like (as Buck has been predicting for months) we are probably heading into a recession. Thanks, Biden! So much for Build Back Better. And then Mayor Pete (technically the Secretary of Transportation, which is hilarious) explains why going to a fancy party- the White House Correspondents Dinner- is safe from COVID, but being on an airplane, which has orders of magnitude safer air from a virus particle perspective, is somehow less safe? Finally, DHS Mayorkas says the border won’t get swamped after Title 42 is lifted, they can handle it, but he’s delusional.
