And what we're going to get into today is the crime situation in Washington, D.C. and specifically

its direct connection to President Biden and his appointees.

You might say Biden is letting criminals run free in Washington, D.C. the nation's capital.

Now there's an amazing statistic that has been going around circulating among people

who follow crime in the District of Columbia and people who live in the District of Columbia

do tend to follow crime there.

In 2022, the U.S. attorney in Washington appointed by President Biden in 2022, that U.S. attorney

has declined to prosecute 67% of all arrests in the city.

Now that's not 62% of all crimes committed, I mean a lot of crimes aren't solved, nobody's

arrested.

That's not 67% of all crimes committed, it is 67% of all instances in which the police

have identified, they have captured and they've charged a suspect.

Prosecutors just let them go.

Now the situation was first reported by a sub-stack called D.C. crime facts, which I would

recommend is pretty interesting.

And there was some additional reporting added by the Washington Post.

Now this number, 67% of all arrests, they decline prosecution, 67% that number is off the charts,

compare it to other cities with significant crime problems in Detroit.

They're declined 33% less than half the percentage of declinations in Washington, 33% now 33%

is really high, okay, and Detroit, 33% declined.
