Opening the show. A judge declared a mistrial in the Danny Masterson rape case Wednesday, as the jury could not reach a decision on the verdict. There is suspicions that the church may have had a hand in the outcome..  the victims,  who were members of the religion at the time, testified about the fear and alienation they felt about reporting Masterson, who is also a member of the Church. The alleged victims also claimed the religious practices they followed at the time didn’t allow them to think the incidents were rape. Saying they were told to “stop blaming” him because according to Scientology, “You can never be a victim. Nothing ever happens to you without it being your fault.”   lawmakers are pushing back on President Biden’s pompous White House celebration, where 200 live lobsters will be served for guests.
