Senator, nice to be with you here today. You just got back in from Washington, D.C., and there is some

serious news that's broken this week that I think a lot of people don't realize it's happening,

and that is the disastrous policies of the Biden administration are really coming back to Hanna,

and it's now dealing with the national security issue. It's not just the policies with Ukraine and Russia.

It's also now dealing with Iran. And there were some questions that you asked, and I want to

play this for people, because I think it's so important, you were talking about the massive

disaster that was, in fact, the Nord Stream pipeline and not having sanctions early enough.

For everybody that's listening, and if you're watching this, this was a moment that I think

is going to come back to haunt this administration for a long time.

As you know, in January of last year, the Senate voted on my legislation to impose sanctions

on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and it did so before Russia had invaded Ukraine.

When the Senate voted on those sanctions, President Zelensky publicly urged, even begged the United States Senate to pass those sanctions.

And President Zelensky said, passing those sanctions then were the last chance to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine, the last chance to prevent Russian tanks rolling

into Ukraine.

Was President Zelensky wrong?

Senator Cruz, like you, I am, and I think the administration is very gratified to know that

Nord Stream 2 is now, as you like to say, a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea. I personally,
