lamented by breathless cable commentators. So perhaps it's no surprise that he's now borrowing

generously from the Trump playbook.

Firstly, he stepped out with Trump's signature Orange Glow.

Now he's calling into friendly breakfast television shows with choice words for democratic elites.

I'm getting so frustrated by the elites.

Now, I'm not talking about you guys, but about the elites in the party, who they know so much more.

If any of these guys don't think I should run against me. Go ahead. Announce the president.

Challenge me at the convention.

I suspect they will. So far, none of this is working for the president. He's frankly lost the room.

And this is why.

Ask directly about how he will reassure supporters about his fitness for office,
