President-elect Joe Biden gave an interview to the New York Times Thomas Friedman,

which is striking for many reasons, not least of which Friedman actually talked to somebody and

interviewed somebody who was not a cab driver or a Saudi prince or a Saudi prince who was working

as a cab driver. So what did the president-elect say? Well, a couple sort of top line takeaways.

One is that he's trying, he's sort of weirdly co-opted at the America First rhetoric and is trying
