majored in political science and way more important was the captain of the softball team.

JOD got her start in presidential politics on Al Gore's 2000 campaign where she quickly built a

reputation as a field organizer par excellence which she then proceeded to parlay into

her resume about as stellar as they come in the world of Democratic operatives.
