Summary

Recently, United States President Elect Joe Biden says "people may die" if Trump refuses to start cooperating with the presidential transition process. Biden also says that it's "beyond my comprehension" that Trump is playing golf instead of working on a stimulus package.Biden says that small businesses are "teetering on the edge" in pandemic and a Texas food bank sees its largest distribution ever recently.  Trump continues to tweet baseless presidential election claims as covid cases surge.  Moderna says its coronavirus vaccine is 94.5 percent effective against the infection, while the United States reports more than 100,000 covid infections for the 14th straight day.  Georgia's republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says  that the GOP, including Sen. Graham, is pressuring him to toss out legal ballots. Raffensperger also says that Graham asked him about mail-in ballots saying, "I got the sense it implied... throw those out." At the same time,  Trump continues to sow doubt on Georgia recount as he refuses to concede, while lawsuits have been withdrawn that tried to block Biden's wins in four states. Trump falsely claims twice in a 24 hour span that "I won the election."  Trump also touts stock market gains as coronavirus cases surge.  To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
