New polling from ABC News, the Washington Post, and the ipsoes

showed not only was Biden tied with Donald Trump among registered voters,

but that Kamala Harris was doing slightly better, still all within the margin of air, but this made every meeting, every speech, every word, feel like a make-or-break moment.

If he was going to stumble in a big press conference, you could feel members of his own party with their fingers right next to their eject buttons.
