And what we're going to get into today is, we'll call it Joe Biden at his worst.

And that is worst in the latest, newest, oldest BS battle in Washington.

Okay, I'll explain.

One of the most commented upon moments of the state of the Union address happen when

Biden accused Republicans, some Republicans, of wanting to sunset Medicare and Social Security.

Now, in other words, sunset, he wants Medicare and he said those Republicans want Medicare

and Social Security to go out of existence.

These are the twin foundations of the safety net for retired Americans and Republicans

according to Biden, want to get rid of them.

That's it.

God.

Now, the weird thing about what Biden said was that just the day before, I mean, literally

the day before Kevin McCarthy, the House Speaker, gave a much-watched speech in which he declared

that, quote, cuts to Medicare and Social Security are off the table.

Seems kind of clear.

We're talking about the anticipated negotiations over debt ceiling.

And McCarthy clearly anticipated how Biden would attack in these debt ceiling negotiations.

And he wanted to make sure that as these attacks came, that the House Republican position

would be clear, no cuts to Medicare, no cuts to Social Security.
