In today's news, Representative Liz Cheney faces a backlash revoting to impeach Trump

in our home state, and as GameStop stock crumbles, amateur traders reckon with heavy losses.

But first, the big idea.

President Joe Biden's administration became more concrete as Alejandra Mayorkas and

Pete Buttigieg both broke last ceilings to become the first Latino head of the Department

of Homeland Security and the first gay Secretary of Transportation respectively.

With the specter of former President Trump looming in the administration's mind, as senators

prepared to hear remarks in Trump's second impeachment trial, the sprawling bureaucracy

of the federal government is beginning to reflect the interests of the President.

The turmoil abroad, including protests in Russia and a military coup in Myanmar, have

provided the administration the opportunity to preview how President Biden might act

upon the world stage.

And domestically, the President sought to distance himself from his predecessor by signing

an executive order that seeks to remedy the separation of migrant families in U.S. detention

under the Trump administration.

orders calling for the establishment of an interagency task force to seek out and reunite

families who have been separated along with the review and potential reversal of the Trump

administration's deterrent policies along the Mexico border and the berries are created
