Donald Trump and Joe Biden coasted towards securing their party's presidential

nominations on Super Tuesday.

Mr. Trump had won 11 or 15 primaries by 930 PM,

Eastern time.

Heaping pressure on Nicky Haley, his sole remaining competitor, to withdraw.

Ms Haley has won one primary in a District of Columbia.

Joe Biden has also dominated the Democratic primary contests so far.

Polls have consistently shown that most Americans do not want to see a rematch of the

geriatric contenders, but their rivals have failed to garner enough support.

Ukrainian Special Forces sank the Sergei Kotov, a Russian warship worth $65 million, according to Ukraine's

military intelligence agency.

The ship was targeted near the Kirch Strait using domestically manufactured Magura V5 naval drones,

which Ukraine used to sink the Caesar Kunikov, another Russian warship in February.

Ukraine also claimed responsibility for striking an oil depot in Dulgoya, a village in Russia's Belgorod region.

The price of gold rallied to over $2,141 per ounce, a record high before falling again.
