This really is truly deeply cynical shameless stuff by the Biden administration in the United States.

It is desperate stuff and it is also a confession and it is a confession in US complicity in genocide.

Now this is a letter which has been released.

It's a letter from the US administration to Jov-Gan. He is Israel's defense minister. Now there is a request for an

arrest warrant against Galan by the International Criminal Courts Chief Prosecutor that arrest what is pending.

Principally it's on the grounds of the deliberate starvation of the Palestinian people in Gaza,

so war crimes and crimes against humanity.

That request was made five months ago.

We are waiting for the pretrial judges to accept that request, but keep it at the front of your mind when we talk about this.

Now the letter to Yov Galan is written on behalf of the US Secretary of State Antity Blinken

whose role has included, among other things, constantly

sewing the illusion that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister is interested in a ceasefire

when he clearly is not. And the US Defence Minister Lloyd Austin, all of

which of course, all of them have stood squarely behind the US policy of

arming Israel to the teeth while it commits some of the most heinous crimes of our age.

Now the letter notes previous correspondence from April, six months ago, from Blincken to Galan,

emphasizing that in accordance with US law and policy the Department of State

a defense must continually assess the Israeli government's adherence to the

March 2024 assurances that and I quote Israel would facilitate and not arbitrarily deny, restrict, or otherwise

impede directly or indirectly the transport or delivery of the United States humanitarian assistance

and US government supported international efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to and within Gaza.

They know here the legal provisions of the Foreign Assistance Act in the US.
