going to speak with Lieutenant Colonel Allen West. We're going to talk to him. There's

just so many things to talk to him about, things that are happening in this country, especially

in his state of Texas down on that border. So we're going to talk to Alan West coming up.

Joining us now though, John Yanarelli. He is retired from the FBI. I was a member of the FBI

Cyber Division and the FBI SWAT team. And he's also the author of disorderly conduct and also how

to spot a terrorist. John Yanarelli, thank you for joining me. Welcome to the show.

Mary, thanks for having me this morning. There is so much to cover with you. So I'm so glad you're here.

I guess I want to start with an overarching question. Then we're going to go into some other

things that I think support this question. And a lot of it has to do with my personal view,

but I think a lot of Americans feel this way. When I think of the FBI now and other government

agencies, I don't, I'm not proud of them anymore. I don't trust them. If an FBI agent came

knocking at my door, there's no way I would allow them in my home unless I had my lawyer with me.

As opposed to I think maybe probably long ago and far away, I was very naive. And I thought,

oh, that they're here to protect me and they're here to help me. But it seems to me as if the FBI,

as we hear more and more and more, especially in the late of the 2020 election,

they've to me gone rogue or they've become woke or maybe their drunk on their own power. Has it

always been that way? Am I misinterpreting the way the FBI is now? So there's a couple of

things to a lot to unpack. Let's start with the fact that the men and women of the FBI, the agents,
