On today's episode I speak to Tara Reed, a California-based victims rights advocate and

activist.

Last spring, after Nevada politician Lucy Flores shared that Biden had touched her inappropriately,

Tara was one of seven women who came forward to accuse Joe Biden of similar misbehavior.

At the time, she totaled the local report. accused Joe Biden of similar misbehavior.

that when she worked as a staff assistant

for Joe Biden's Senate office in the early 90s,

he would put his hands on her shoulder,

run his fingers up and down her neck.

Almost immediately after sharing her own story, Tara was docked and smeared.

There was more to Tara's story than she had revealed, but she felt too vulnerable to

tell it.

Then in January, she approached Times Up,

the nonprofit organization, which helps women

share their Me Too stories.

As we now know from a March 24th Ryan Grimm article at the Intercept, Times Up told Tara they

couldn't help her because funding a Me Too allegation against Joe Biden could threaten

their tax exempt status.

As Grimm also points out, the public relations firm that works on behalf of the Times Up Legal Defense Fund is SKD Nickerbacher,

whose managing director Anita Dunn is the top advisor to Biden's presidential
