I would read that, and I would always see these turtles in these shells, and their little necks craned out and they would be

talking and singing for some reason in the springtime. Why would turtles want to sing in the springtime?

I got a little older and I realized it was the turtle dove and it was the voice of spring and it was the voice of spring, and it was the language of romance, but in my child's mind,
