0:24.9	super fan. For example in Indiana Jones readers of the Lost Arc there's a series
0:30.0	of hieroglyphs that appear on screen and hidden inside of those
0:33.8	hieroglyphs is R2D2 and C3PO from Star Wars. Now that one's a little bit
0:38.5	silly but the best Easter eggs are ones that actually affect the meaning of a scene.
0:43.2	They add a new layer to it.
0:44.8	For example, in the movie Toy Story, Buzz and Woody
0:47.1	gets stuck in a neighbor's house.
0:49.2	And the carpet in the house is identical to the carpet
0:52.0	from the movie The Shining.
0:54.0	That's a horror movie based on a Stephen King novel.
0:57.0	And as it turns out, the house that they're in is the house of Sid,
1:01.0	a toy-maneeling maniac. And so the carpet isn't just a nod maneling maniac.
1:03.0	And so the carpet isn't just a nod to an old movie.
1:06.0	It's foreshadowing that Buzz and Woody are in a bad spot.
1:09.0	I hesitate to say that the New Testament is full of Easter eggs from the Old Testament because that kind of trivializes those
1:15.6	references. I think it's fair to say that the New Testament is painted with the colors of the Old Testament.
