Summary

What does the Bible say about creation and the shape of the earth and can the Bible be trusted as a reliable source?

In this episode, Amy is joined by author, speaker, and father of 8, Matt Long, who started out needing the "scientific evidence" to fully trust the Bible. Matt has spent years of research and studying the Biblical shape of the Earth, to now share with others what he believes to be true.  We also discuss why Matt believes the Bible is the most accurate and reliable collection of books in the history of the world. We break down the deception of education institutions, NASA, and other ways the world has misguided us. We share why the hope in understanding this truth about creation, truly opens your eyes to seeing every other deception that is out there.

Bible is not a science book, it is scientifically correct. So with that intro, Matt, I know you're

It was all I wanted to do. I wanted to be a professional athlete. And when all that kind of came to an

end in my mid-20s, I had to start looking for meaning in my life beyond just being an athlete. What I found was that

1:30.3

basically my entire self-worth was tied up in that. And so it was quite a shock to go into the

1:35.3

real world and get a real job. And you know, you get home at 6 o'clock and now it's time for

1:41.3

you to do whatever you want to do and it was it was just a big

1:44.5

um big shock for me at the time and i i had spent the the first i guess maybe the most of my 20s

1:55.0

from my teens into my 20s not believing the bible and and maybe not believing the Bible is the right way to put it because

2:02.0

I'd never read it for myself. So I actually, I gave the Bible no credit for having any,

2:09.1

um, any authority in my life. And I actually, embarrassingly, like I made fun of people

2:15.6

that believe the Bible and athletes that thanked

2:19.8

God after their victories and, you know, looking back at how ignorant I was, it's actually

2:25.8

quite shocking and embarrassing, but I started doing a little research for myself. I realized
