And today we are going to discuss books in the Bible that never made it in. Now you might be thinking to

yourself, Samantha and Deb, what the heck does this have to do with our show? Well, most of the books

that got kicked out were because of psychic, magical, or divine, feminine

Basically, a group of men got together over several decades and really centuries, refining

what we now recognize as the Bible.

This process was called canonization, and it wasn't until the fourth century that the books in the Bible were fully locked in.

And I am sure you can imagine how heated many of these debates became. The arguments were over lots of things,

disparities in the Greek and Hebrew translations. Some just didn't like the men who wrote the books. Others

argued about the teachings in the books. What we recognize as the Bible today has changed

many times. The books that were left out are called Apocrypha, which means hidden. And get this,

there are more Apocrypha books than there are books in the Bible.
