All right, let's get started. This is our prophecy update, first service. We have two services,

the first of which is the Bible prophecy update that we do weekly, and then second service is

the sermon, which is a verse by verse study through the book of James currently. And Lord willing,

today will finish the third chapter. Actually looking really forward to this particular passage, it's

a passage of scripture that God has used in my life over the years in powerful and profound

ways. We're going to look at how it is that we can discern between the wisdom from God or the wisdom from the world.

It's the wisdom of God and the will of God.

update and with that let's get started I want to talk to you today about the seductive danger of getting too

comfortable in this world with everything that has happened, is now happening, and certainly

is about to happen.

And by that I mean there's this very subtle, almost subliminal sense that with the recent

easing of restrictions that we can sort of let our guard down.

And the reason this is so dangerous is that it further reinforces this notion that we

can make ourselves at home in this world not our home.

If you were to ask me what I thought was one of the main purposes of Bible prophecy

other than one coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, this would be it.

And I'll explain what I mean by that.
