Amen and amen and good morning and welcome and happy new year.

How long can you say happy new year? Is there a cutoff date? Does anybody know?

I've never known all these years, you know, if it's like March and somebody says,

Happy New Year, I think that's we're over by then. You can have a seat. Glad you're here. Those of you online, glad you're joining with us before we get started. Though I want to let you know that coming up Tuesday, that's this Tuesday, January 7 p.m. is going to be our prayer meeting really looking forward to the first part of the prayer meeting,

which will be live streamed, by the way, and note the start time of 7 p.m. Hawaii time on Tuesday,

because the Nepal team, team Nepal, is, yeah, praise the Lord.

They're going to be sharing with us about the recent medical missions trip to Nepal

and really looking forward to that.

And we're hoping that you'll come and join with us. All right. Let's get to it. This is the first of two services on Sunday mornings that we devote to these weekly Bible prophecy updates. And then second services now the sermon has been for a few years now and

that's our verse by verse study through God's word we made it to Revelation

we're currently in Revelation verse by verse and today's text will be chapter 14

verses 8 through 12. And I titled today's

sermon, staying encouraged in evil times for a reason, which is that we're not only exhorted,

encouraged, to be encouraged,

but also more importantly perhaps stay encouraged.

You see the difference, right?

So we're gonna look at both,

but really focus on staying encouraged in the face of unspeakable evil in a darkening world

on this the eve of the pre-tribulation rapture. Also, those of you that are watching by way of YouTube and Facebook,
