0:06.3	Sunday mornings, we have two services, the first of which is devoted to Bible prophecy, where we do our weekly Bible prophecy updates.

0:29.2	Today's text is going to be chapter 12, verses 14 through 17. And we're going to look at the paramount importance of destroying
0:43.2	bitterness before a root of bitterness grows ultimately destroying us.

1:33.3	I'm going to just ask you to bear with me today.
1:38.3	For the update, I'm going to borrow from another well-known idiom, pulling the strings, which carries with it the idea of someone behind the scenes, controlling someone and or something.
2:02.6	As I've reflected on the last couple of years, it seems that this is what is happening
2:13.2	behind the scenes, this pulling the strings. It's exactly what is taking place in the world today.
2:23.3	To me, it's really the only thing that comes anywhere close to explaining why it is that the entire world is doing the same exact thing
2:42.2	at the same exact time. I mean, I'm open for other possibilities and explanations, but this is the only thing that I can come up with that comes anywhere close to explaining how it is that for the first time in history, world history, someone or even something is pulling the strings
3:20.0	and controlling with precision accuracy events globally.
3:27.0	You'll forgive my use of the phrase lockstep.
