rejoice and be glad in it Lord this is a privilege to be here Lord and we thank you so much for

providing this place for us Lord and this time that we can come together Lord and dig into your word

have something for us and we want to know what it is that we can be more like you Lord so bless this

amen amen good morning welcome so glad you. I want to welcome those of you that

are joining us online. You can be seated at this time. Before we get started, I just want to

quickly mention that for those of you here, we're going to have our prayer meeting on Tuesday night,

7 p.m. here in the sanctuary. And just would really encourage you to come and join with us. Hope

you will. We have two services on Sunday mornings, the first of which is the Bible prophecy

update that we do weekly have for a number of years. And second service, which will be

at 1115 a.m. Hawaii time. It be live stream and this is the sermon which is a

verse by verse study through the Word of God. Last week we finished the book of

1st Peter and so the book that comes after 1st Peter is 2nd Peter. So I know

profound right? So today the text is going to be, well

we're going to start 2 Peter chapter 1 beginning in verse 1 and we'll get all the way

through verse 1. So and what we're going to do is look at how that Jesus will always lift us up
